Meet Lili Wexu
Hi! I’m Lili Wexu, a Los Angeles-based commercial voice actress. You've heard me in lots of campaigns in the US and in Canada, where I'm from, originally. Some my clients include AT&T business, Universal, Estee Lauder, Olay, Intel, Squarespace, Lowe's, the Olympics, the Golden Globes, Fox, NBC, and even the Cartoon Network. Back in the day, I also provided voices to the Assassin’s Creed II video game. Besides working behind the mic, I’m also a film and TV actress. More importantly, I'm a Commercial VO coach with a passion for helping voice actors get out of their own way, so they can book the kinds of jobs they dare to dream of.
Overcoming Challenges as an Artist
All that said, I'm a performer, just like you. And while I'm successful in my career, I'm not immune to trends changing, so I've faced my fair share of hardships and rejections. I've had dry spells, fallen out of style, lost agents, and lost my voice. You name it, I've gone through it! Which is why I've learned so much, -and have so much to give.
As an artist, my mission is to share the most important lesson I've learned through my entire career: Performance problems are entirely fixable. The key is to stop focusing on results (uncontrollables), and instead, focus on the creative process (controllables). The healthier the creative process (being less in your head and more into your creativity), the more positive the outcome/result.
