Diana M McCleery

I’m grateful for a breadth of experiences that not many people have had. In addition to a low-key-adventurous life beyond scientific areas, I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Memphis; as a undergraduate I actively contributed to graduate-level primate research.

I’ve worked at the nation’s first accredited nature center and the Memphis Pink Palace Museum, as an instructor at both. I was also a Childbirth Educator for several years. As a child, I learned the complete taxonomies of most of my seashell collection, for fun. I don’t just pronounce complex biological terms, I understand them. I truly enjoy medical narration. Comprehension, interest, and the empathy I bring creates audience investment like nothing else can.
